Before I actually get into talking about the episode, these episodic posts are most likely going to be one day late -- not like it matters much, but worth the warning. And why will they be later, you may ask? Well to get to straight to the point, I will wait for the better version, better known as the uncensored version. I much rather enjoy these types of anime in what it is intended to be viewed, so no steamy fog clouds raining on my breast viewing.

So even if this episode had substantially less bare naked bodies, I refused to watch Freezing and not see skinny dipping Elizabeth (NSFW).

Stella Boasting

Despite the focus of this episode not being on last seasons main characters, the scenes they are in are a nice break from the heavier plot points. Basically all the scene that are focused on Satellizer, Rana, or Kazuya are more vacation-esque, where the anime fits it's fanservice stuff. Knowing that fact doesn't bother me, and the fact that Rana continues to tease Satellizer, we get some pretty great reactions from her.

The one that I enjoyed the most is the picture above, it is Satellizer attempting to boast about being with Kazuya in a room alone; however, you can see her eyebrows twitching as she does and that did cause my cold dark heart to warm up and get me to smile at that.

It isn't all fun and games when we transition into a practice match between Pandora and E-Pandora, to test the strength of these new Evolution Pandora. So my prediction of there being conflict between the different Pandora was proven both right and wrong in this episode. There was some animosity after the E-Pandora lost pretty badly. Most of it had to do with their status in life, where most of the regular Pandora are "born with a silver spoon in their mouth", while the E-Pandora are predominately poor or less well off.

The conflict itself was all settled after the small moping and encouragement scene in the locker room, because Elizabeth is a humble person, who doesn't look down on people weaker than her. The E-Pandora didn't seem to hold that much of grudge after Elizabeth, and most of the Pandora class, just admitted that they just want to help make them stronger for the sake of humanity.

Ending Card

So the episode had some interesting development going on for side characters, making things feel more well put together as mysteries continue to unravel. Even if they didn't focus more on the conflict, it felt like the anime did a good job handling it; I guess Freezing isn't really in a school environment anymore, so the people could be more mature and conflict between people get dealt with quickly.

The one mystery that was was revealed at the end of this episode was something called Mark IV. It is quite apparent that this will harm the E-Pandora, but the higher ups stopped caring about being careful, so E-Pandora are expendable. There is obviously more conflict to come and I'm still pretty excited on continuing this series.
