Wasn't quite sure if I wanted to watch the extremely long titled Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaete mo Omaera ga Warui!, but I gave this one a go, and it was pretty decent. The first thing I thought of, when reading the description, was The World God Only Knows only on the female side, and that anime is happening this season as well -- but it isn't really anything like that.
From the start we are introduced to this female otaku, who thinks that High School will be so much different, than her experience in Middle School -- which wasn't that favorable, but she tricks herself into think it was. And immediately after that introduction, I was surprised by the OP that made itself quite welcome.
Tomoko seems like a nice girl, but she is far too concern with what others think of her; almost to the point of making her situation worse than what she had previously imagined.
It might be interesting to see her develop as character, but me coming into the series with no real expectations, I wasn't that impressed with what Watamote had. I will probably continue the series for now, out of pure curiosity, but I'm not sure if this will be any good.
