Monogatari S2 - First Impressions
It seems like Monogatari Series: Second Season will be focused on the females that Araragi met in the first season, rather than himself, and I couldn't be happier.
Now, I've never been the biggest fan of the Monogatari Series, but I do appreciate the how well put together an anime that is heavily focused on conversations, and still make it interesting. This first episode, of this season is no exception; it just takes me a bit to get into the pacing of most of the monologues and dialogues that the characters have.
With Araragi Koyomi out of the way, I've been seeing a bit of him in the personalities of both Hachikuji Mayoi and Senjogahara Hitagi, but maybe I'm crazy. However, if I am correct in that observation, it is one interesting way to reintroduce the comedy that Araragi had brought to the series.
For the first episode, I am enjoying it, and the series doesn't seem to be lacking in both animation quality and plot. I won't forget to mention that almost all the females have short hair now, and that is something I'm a BIG fan of.
