The second season of the infamous harem with mechs, that being IS: Infinite Stratos 2, is back in full swing. However, not so much full swing considering the majority of the episode was more or less being reintroduced to the character via them doing the casual things, like shopping and summer activities.
Really I don't expect much from this series, but considering this is a pretty standard harem, I know what I'm getting into. The thing I noticed that I didn't first season was Laura's voice actor is the same that plays Tohka from Date a Live, which is an interesting side note. Like most harem, I'm always boggled by the shear size of some, this anime included; almost to the point of feeling sorry for Ichika, but he is pretty much oblivious to any signals coming from the female, and the pity easily switches to the girls in said harem.
So as for the episode, even if it was a majority of useless nonsense, I thought it was good enough. They sprinkled in some upcoming story in between and it felt out of place, but at least I know is won't just be pure going no where harem romance. And of course the harem is only going to get bigger with this blue haired girl appearing, making for a total of six females to mildly care about.
