Right off the bat, High School DxD New hit you in the face with tits, and theirs nothing you could do about it. And I'm gracious because I barely see myself watching any ecchi anime as of late -- mainly because they don't usually have a story to complement the fanservice.
As of the first episode into this new season of High School DxD, I do like that they actually attempt, and accomplish, to balance a story with a decent amount of lady bits. This first episode was set up for what's to come, and I like it so far -- with Kiba being shaken from his "cool guy" persona, when he sees the Holy Sword in a picture. We will most likely see more development around him, and not going to lie, I'm excited for the rest of the this series.
I will most likely stick to High School DxD this season, especially if this is anything like last season, and even its OVA. This anime is one of the better examples of an anime in the ecchi genre, where fanservice doesn't compromise story, even if they do for the more blatantly sexual natured things -- like Akeno sucking out "magic power", that is overflowing out of Issei's coc... finger.
