Probably one of the most talked down upon anime this season, that being Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai!, mainly because it is purely a glorified combo of sensual screams and provocative positions between the women, all wrapped in a pretty basic revenge plot. Even with that kind reputation, I'm not afraid to say that I actually enjoy these six episodes I've seen so far. If anything, the more I see people criticize the anime, especially with MAL's score being 5.70, it makes it that much better.
With this episode marking the middle of the series, you wouldn't expect it be the climax of it's main story; however, after watching Sakura give up to the Boston Crab for two episodes, then finally pull though, it is expect that we see some kind of progress. And that is this episode. Sakura finally faces her rival Rio in a spicy match, and to my surprise, she actually won; but now that there isn't really much revenge left -- because she completed he goal -- now the story is on a fresh start.
So where does this fresh start even lead? Well, since Sakura decided to not return as a idol, rather pursue her career in pro wrestling, my guess is there we be more cries of pain and suggestive positions. It's actually quite difficult to even try to predict where this is going, but there is obviously going to be more wrestling, because that is the main focus of the show, but Elena is probably the next focus for the series.
Since Elena still has issues with Sakura, the fact that Sakura isn't returning back to Sweet Diva is something that was shown to have upset Elena. She might be one to sit back for a bit before actually taking action, but I'm pretty sure Elena will make a strike somehow. However, there are probably going to be a few wrestlers that Sakura will face that are way tougher than Rio, probably the more obvious one being the blond who appeared in the preview.
All in all, there really isn't much to this series to really analyze. This is just one of those series that I have fun watching and don't really do much but forget about it right when the next season comes around. I can't say that it is good simply because I enjoy it, but it isn't going to be for everyone. This in no way is going to be the Chihayafuru for wrestling, but I still continue to watch this moderately enjoyable series.
