I haven't been the biggest fan of most of the anime coming from KyoAni, and after the first season of Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! ended, I pretty much never really watched anything from them ever since. So now that Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Ren is here, I'm going to give KyoAni another shot and hope that it isn't just another moe infested non-stories -- can't truly tell at the moment, but so far it is a decent start.
So right from the beginning with Yuuta happening to be now living alone, and Rikka as well, I couldn't help but think how convenient this setup is. Both of them are now dating and they have a house to themselves... Well, regardless they do get found out by Touka at the end half of this episode; however, there current status gets saved by the return of Yuuta's sister. It really is a series of fortunate conveniences and probably nothing really conflict heavy will start until the latter half of the series -- just like the first season.
Right now there isn't much to say about it, but I'm glad to see it was at least moderately entertaining to me. I do like the fact that the delusions kind of shake the slice-of-life feel that most KyoAni projects have, but really that didn't save me from dropping Kyoukai no Kanata last time. So right now I'm okay with the introduction back into people with chuunibyou, but I'm watching with a bit of skepticism for the time being.
